thanksgiving morning

3 Dec

Thanksgiving breakfast has become a set tradition with our household.  Here’s how it played out this year:

Guys got up early to work out – priorities, please.

Cooking begins.

Grandma arrives ready to supervise.

Rest of the family trickles in.

Food is ready and they line up to eat.

They eat, and eat, and eat!

To work all that off, and since the weather was GORGEOUS, all the guys decided on a game of touch football.  It was like a summer gathering with the grandparents sitting on the porch watching.

Around 1:00 everyone leaves to join other families and we head to grandma’s house.

After dinner there (more good food), we pulled out the decorations and put up her Christmas tree – under her supervision, of course.  At each phase of the day, there were things that came to mind to be thankful for.  God has been good to us and our blessings are beyond even counting.  Hope you enjoy the pictures!
