Joy and Gratitude

2 Nov

Praise God, I believe we as a group are no longer dissatisfied! ! !

I believe that something has broken loose in our group and that we are well on our way to Breaking Free!

We really missed all those that could not be there tonight-Kelli, Cindy, Kim and Cheryl.  Stacey, we missed you too in the discussion part.  You were all raised up to the Father in prayer this evening. It turned out to be a really upbeat meeting.   We are so happy and grateful that Kim is doing well after surgery and better yet, NO CANCER!!!!  Yay!!

Cindy, you would be so proud of us, I think.  All the work you have done with us is paying off, finally!  We are finally able as a group, to open up, expose our wounds and allow God to set us free.   I know for myself, I’m beginning to really feel comfortable praying out loud and even leading a discussion!

I’m looking forward to see what the Lord has in store for us 2BC girls!

Next week we will be finishing up with The Potter and the Clay and starting the Week 8 video in Breaking Free.  We will meet, hopefully, in our Sunday School classroom since The Pathway to Hope is having their banquet.

Sending love out to our group and to all who read this, we are truly blessed!

Mama Rosi

Isaiah 64:8 (New International Version)

8 Yet, O LORD, you are our Father.
       We are the clay, you are the potter;
we are all the work of your hand.

Kelli, we missed you too. But know you were into something as good as we were.

Incredible job last night Rosi. I totally agree with everything you said above. I believe we’re finally there.

Thanks Beth (the politically correct one)- it’s nice to be missed. I missed you guys too- I honked at you last night when I went by Dana’s on my way home. Did anyone hear me??? Wanted you all to know I was thinking of you.

Kelli!!! I’m so sorry I forgot to include you in the original post. I didn’t even realize it until I read Beth’s comment. We definitely thought of you last night and I just whipped that post up in a rush and didn’t put your name in there and I’m so sorry. Please know you are loved and thought of!!! =) We missed you!

Girls—I am really proud to see you moving on in the Lord. I knew you had it in you all along! God has allowed us to walk on a path that we never could have imagined—-certainly not me. But this much I know to be true—-HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT!

Now that sounds small, until you sit and look at the forms that His grace will present itself in. A brother, a sister, a helper, a provider, the body of Christ as a whole, wisdom, knowledge, guidance, a still small voice, enough light for the next step. He does not leave us alone and when we can’t see or feel—He shows up in the flesh. Yes, He really does! Oh the name of the body of flesh may be Sue or Dave or whatever, but if the Spirit of God abides in that body, then Christ shows up—-in the flesh.

I have been meditating on Psalm 91 these days. Read it over and over. It will minister to you so much.

    Hope to see you soon.
    LOVE YOU,
    CJ

My word, I thought you hadn’t posted anything for a long time. I have you on Bloglines and only today got an update after about 2 months–135 posts behind!! I don’t know how that happened. Good to see you’re still going strong!
